For ten years we rented our favourite apartment in Villefranche Sur Mer, lapping up the beaches, food, day-trips to Italy, and the extraordinarily wide cultural variety of France all a stone's throw away. But soon we realised that so much more was possible - all of this and more - a home away from home.

This reached a peak in 2004 when we began our earnest search for the perfect property to match our criteria. It needed to comfortably accommodate a large family, yes, but how could it be symbolic of everything on offer that we so loved? Well, have you seen Villa Clara's view? No wonder we fell so deeply in love with it after looking at hundreds of properties over a two-year period. In December 2005 our dream became a reality, and we are soon to celebrate 15 years as the proud owners of Villa Clara.
